12 Armed Lord Ganesha | Hand-Painted Himalayan Copper Sculpture

Invite auspicious energy and prosperity into a sacred space with this finely crafted Ganesh Statue, handmade by a skilled Newari artist from Patan, Nepal, where centuries-old metalworking traditions preserve the living essence of Himalayan sacred art. Carefully formed from copper and enriched with vibrant acrylic colors, this sculpture is elevated with gold-gilded detailing and adorned with semi-precious stones, enhancing each sacred feature with refined brilliance and devotional elegance.

Lord Ganesha is depicted standing with the right leg raised in a dynamic posture, symbolizing readiness, balance, and divine movement through life’s obstacles. Resting upon the loyal mushak (mouse), the traditional vehicle of Ganesha, and placed atop a lotus pedestal surrounded by a beautifully decorated halo, this sacred form reflects mastery over desires, grounded spiritual awareness, and the harmonious flow of wisdom and auspicious energy.

The twelve arms hold sacred symbolic attributes representing protection, abundance, wisdom, and enlightened action in all directions. Each detail reflects divine guidance, offering support in overcoming challenges and embracing new beginnings with clarity and confidence.

Ganesha

Ganesha, the elephant-headed deity known as the Remover of Obstacles, is revered across Hindu and Buddhist traditions as a symbol of wisdom, success, and auspicious beginnings. According to ancient lore, Ganesha was created by Goddess Parvati and later received an elephant’s head from Lord Shiva, granting divine intelligence and the role of guardian of thresholds. In Buddhism, particularly in Vajrayana traditions, Ganesha (Vinayaka) appears as a powerful worldly deity associated with prosperity, learning, and the removal of practical and spiritual hindrances. An enduring story tells how the gods agreed that Ganesha would be worshipped first, as no undertaking, worldly or spiritual, could succeed without clearing obstacles. This role makes Ganesha a timeless embodiment of discernment, adaptability, and the ability to transform challenges into opportunities for growth.
