Kurkulla Statue | Traditional Oxidized Copper Artwork

Celebrate the magnetic energy and enlightened wisdom of Kurukulla with this beautifully handcrafted statue, created by master Newari artisans from Patan, Nepal. Carefully crafted from copper using the revered lost-wax casting technique and finished with a rich oxidized surface, this sacred sculpture reflects the timeless beauty of Himalayan Buddhist artistry. Every intricate detail is skillfully rendered, bringing depth, character, and spiritual significance to the piece.

Kurukulla is portrayed standing gracefully upon a blooming lotus pedestal, surrounded by a radiant halo of flames symbolizing the transformation of attachment and desire into awakened wisdom. The four arms hold sacred implements: a hook, a noose, a bow, and a flower-tipped arrow representing the power to attract positive circumstances, cultivate focused intention, and awaken compassionate awareness. Beneath the lotus base, subdued figures symbolize the overcoming of ego, negativity, and inner obstacles on the spiritual path. This oxidized copper artwork serves as a meaningful focal point for meditation rooms, Buddhist altars, personal shrines, and sacred spaces, inspiring transformation, compassion, and spiritual growth while enriching any collection of authentic Himalayan Buddhist art.
