Simha Mukha

Simha Mukha, also known as Singhamukha, is a wrathful lion-faced dakini venerated in Vajrayana and Tibetan Buddhist traditions. She is recognized as a fierce embodiment of wisdom and enlightened feminine energy. Often portrayed with a brilliant blue body and the powerful face of a roaring lion, Simha Mukha's presence symbolizes the fearless destruction of ignorance, ego, and negativity. She is often invoked through specific tantric practices and mantras to destroy negativity, dispel spirits, and offer sharp, penetrating insight. As a wisdom dakini, Simha Mukha is considered an emanation of Padmasambhava (Guru Rinpoche) and is closely connected to other powerful deities like Vajrayogini and Yeshe Tsogyal.
