Handpainted Majestic Chana Dorje Vajrapani Sculpture | Tibetan Buddhist Protector Statue

Invite the commanding presence of Vajrapani into your sacred space with this exquisitely crafted statue. Expertly made using the traditional lost-wax technique, every formidable feature is captured with remarkable precision. Cast from high-quality copper alloy and hand-painted in Premium vibrant acrylics, the statue glows with rich colors and striking contrasts. Gold plating on the base and decorative elements adds a subtle shimmer, harmonizing perfectly with the vivid hues. Every detail, from the layered jewelry and flowing scarf to the delicate skulls and pearls encircling the halo is carefully hand-finished, creating a spiritually potent centerpiece.

The imposing Chana Dorje figure stands boldly atop a finely carved lotus pedestal, holding a vajra in the raised right hand and a lasso in the left. Adorned with an intricately carved skull crown and ornate earrings, the deity’s piercing eyes, bared fangs, and vivid red eyebrows, mustache, and beard shine against the deep blue skin and golden accents. The swirling tiger-skin lower garment, coiled green serpent, and flame-like motifs intensify Vajrapani’s protective energy. Rising behind, a dramatic multicolored halo with gold flames and floral patterns radiates spiritual power, amplifying both the artistic beauty and sacred presence of this extraordinary statue.

Vajrapani

Vajrapani, whose name means “Holder of the Thunderbolt,” is one of the earliest and most powerful bodhisattvas in Mahayana Buddhism. Vajrapāṇi is often depicted in a wrathful form, with a muscular body, fierce expression, and surrounded by flames, symbolizing his ability to destroy ignorance and obstacles on the path to enlightenment. Legends describe Vajrapāṇi as a guardian of Gautama Buddha, protecting him from harm and embodying the indomitable force of an enlightened mind. He is also known as the “Lord of Secrets” for his role in transmitting tantric teachings to humanity. His mantra, Om Vajrapāṇi Hūṃ Phaṭ, is chanted to invoke courage, dispel negativity, and cultivate inner strength.
