Shop Our Namgyalma Copper Statue | 24k Fire Gold Gilded Himalayan Sacred Art

This radiant Namgyalma Sculpture is a hand-carved piece created by a skilled artisan in Nepal and reflects the sacred artistry of Himalayan craftsmanship. Sculpted using the traditional lost-wax method, the statue captures the divine presence of Namgyalma who is seated gracefully on a lotus throne and holds a sword that symbolizes her power to cut through obstacles and purify negative karma while offering protection, spiritual clarity, and long life. The Namgyalma sculpture is made from pure copper and is polished with a blend of mercury and 24k gold to form a gold amalgam, then it is fired to evaporate the mercury and leave behind a brilliant, enduring layer of gold, known as 24k fire gold gilding. A hollow chamber within the statue allows for consecration with sacred relics or mantras, enhancing its spiritual potency. Namgyalma, also known as Ushnisha Vijaya, is revered in Tibetan Buddhism as a goddess of longevity, purification, and protection.

Namgyalma

Namgyalma, also known as Ushnisha Vijaya, is a revered female deity in Tibetan Buddhism who embodies the power of longevity, purification, and spiritual protection. Namgyalma is typically depicted with three faces and eight arms, each holding symbolic implements that represent her enlightened activities. Her central white face expresses balance and purity, her right red face symbolizes compassion and magnetizing energy, and her left blue face reflects subjugating power. These aspects work together to pacify suffering, increase vitality, attract positive conditions, and overcome harmful forces. Practitioners pray to Namgyalma to extend their life, recover from illness, and attain rebirth in higher realms. Her mantra is considered so powerful that even hearing it is said to purify lifetimes of negative karma and prevent rebirth in lower realms.
