Dzambhala

Dzambhala, also known as Jambhala, is the Buddhist deity of wealth and prosperity, revered especially in Tibetan Buddhism as a compassionate protector who alleviates poverty and brings financial stability. Often considered an emanation of Avalokiteshvara, the Bodhisattva of Compassion, Dzambhala manifests in five distinct forms: Yellow, White, Black, Green, and Red, each symbolizing different aspects of abundance and spiritual generosity. The most prominent, Yellow Dzambhala, is depicted with a radiant golden complexion, holding a jewel-spitting mongoose and a wish-fulfilling gem, embodying the power to transform misfortune into prosperity. Dzambhala’s fierce yet benevolent appearance reflects his role in overcoming obstacles and negative karma, guiding practitioners toward both material well-being and spiritual enrichment.
