Dzambhala

Dzambhala (also spelled Jambhala) is a revered wealth deity in Tibetan Buddhism, associated with prosperity, generosity, and the removal of poverty, both material and spiritual. Often depicted as a stout, regal figure adorned with jewels and holding a mongoose that spits precious gems, Dzambhala embodies the enlightened activity of compassion through abundance. There are several forms of Dzambhala, each with unique attributes and colors such as Yellow Dzambhala, the most popular, who is linked to the Buddha Ratnasambhava and symbolizes equanimity and generosity. Practitioners invoke Dzambhala through mantras, offerings, and visualizations not merely to gain wealth, but to cultivate the inner richness of wisdom and use resources to benefit others on the path to enlightenment.
