Dzambhala

Dzambhala, also known as Jambhala or Zambala, is a revered deity in Vajrayana and Mahayana Buddhism who embodies wealth, prosperity, and the compassionate wish to alleviate poverty and suffering. He is considered a Bodhisattva of abundance and is often invoked not only for material stability but also for spiritual generosity and the cultivation of merit. Dzambhala manifests in five principal forms: Yellow, White, Green, Red, and Black, each representing different aspects of prosperity and protection. Yellow Dzambhala, the most popular, is associated with Buddha Ratnasambhava and is depicted holding a mongoose that spews jewels, symbolizing the flow of wealth and good fortune.
