White Tara

White Tara, revered as the goddess of compassion and longevity in Tibetan Buddhism, embodies peaceful, nurturing energy and offers protection from physical and spiritual harm. Her radiant white form symbolizes purity and healing, while her seven eyes on her face, hands, and feet signify her omnipresent awareness and readiness to help all beings. Devotees often meditate on her image and recite her powerful mantra, Om Tare Tuttare Ture Mama Ayuh Punya Jñana Puṣṭim Kuru Svaha, to cultivate long life, merit, and spiritual insight. Rooted in boundless empathy, White Tara is considered an emanation of Avalokiteśvara, extending his compassion with distinctly maternal grace.
