White Tara

White Tara, also known as the Female Buddha and the Mother of All Buddhas, is a revered deity in Tibetan Buddhism symbolizing compassion, healing, and longevity. This sacred White Tara statue is often depicted seated in the lotus position, with the soles of her feet facing upward—a posture representing purity and enlightenment.

In her left hand, White Tara gracefully holds a blue lotus flower (utpala), symbolizing wisdom and purity. Her right hand extends downward over her knee in the mudra of compassion, offering blessings to all beings. One of her most unique features is her seven eyes—on her face, palms, and soles—representing her all-seeing nature and her ability to recognize and respond to the suffering of all sentient beings.

The name Tara means “the one who saves,” and the White Tara deity is especially venerated for her power to protect, heal, and alleviate suffering, making her a central figure in spiritual practice and meditation.
