Description

Yellow-Dzambhala Statue – Guardian of Spiritual Abundance | Handcrafted with Exceptional Detail

This Yellow Dzambhala Statue is handcrafted in Patan, Nepal, a city renowned for its centuries-old sacred metalworking traditions. Cast from copper using the traditional investment casting method, the sculpture is further refined through meticulous 3D hand carving showcasing intricate detailing. Brushed with vibrant acrylic colors and elegant gold gilding, this unique artwork reflects the highest standards of Newari Buddhist artistry.

Seated upon a multicolored lotus seat in a royal ease posture, with one foot resting near a sacred shell, Yellow Dzambhala embodies prosperity and spiritual abundance. He holds a jewel-spitting mongoose symbolizing the continuous bestowal of wealth and a citron fruit representing fulfillment. Adorned with a gold-gilded shell diadem, ornate earrings, a gemstone-embellished necklace and a beautifully patterned silver-plated floral lower garment, every element is crafted with remarkable attention to detail.

Dzambhala’s slightly wrathful expression signifies his power to remove poverty-causing karma and overcome obstacles that hinder generosity and prosperity, while his prominent belly symbolizes the capacity to contain abundance. Created exclusively by Nidhiratna, this extraordinary statue is a singular work of art, uniquely conceived and handcrafted with no duplicate in existence—making it a distinguished addition to any meditation space or sacred collection.

About Dzambhala

Dzambhala, known as the Buddhist god of wealth and prosperity, is revered across Tibetan Buddhism as a deity who bestows financial stability, spiritual growth, and protection from misfortune. Rooted in the ancient teachings of Vajrayana Buddhism, Dzambhala embodies compassion, aiding practitioners by alleviating poverty and suffering. Traditionally depicted with a crown and holding a mongoose that spits jewels, Dzambhala’s iconography symbolizes his power to provide abundance. His origins connect to both Hindu and Buddhist traditions, with five main manifestations, including Yellow Dzambhala (the most popular form), each associated with distinct blessings.
