White Tara

White Tara is a revered female Bodhisattva in Tibetan Buddhism, known for her radiant compassion, healing energy, and association with long life. She is depicted as a serene, white-colored goddess seated in full lotus posture, distinguished by her seven eyes, three on her face, and one each on her palms and soles, symbolizing her omniscient awareness and ability to perceive suffering across all realms. As an emanation of Avalokiteshvara’s compassion, White Tara is invoked to purify illness, extend lifespan, and remove spiritual and physical obstacles. Her mantra, Om Tare Tuttare Ture Mama Ayuh Punya Jñana Puṣtim Kuru Svaha, is chanted to cultivate vitality, merit, and wisdom. Practitioners visualize her pouring healing nectar into their bodies, transforming suffering into radiant health and spiritual clarity.
