Authentic Chana Dorje Statue | Handcrafted Himalayan Buddhist Figure

Our exquisite Chana Dorje Statue is meticulously hand-carved by a master artisan from Nepal using the traditional lost-wax method. Made from high-quality copper, it is polished with a unique gold amalgam blend of mercury and 24k gold, then fired to evaporate the mercury, leaving a strong and radiant layer of 24k fire gold gilding. Standing gracefully on a blooming lotus seat, Chana Dorje holds a vajra that symbolizes indestructible power and enlightened wisdom. The statue is beautifully adorned with semi-precious stones and features a hollow chamber designed for consecration and filling with auspicious mantras or sacred relics to enhance its spiritual energy and blessings.

Devotees pray to Chana Dorje as a powerful protector deity who offers courage, clears obstacles, and dispels negative energies to guide spiritual practitioners on their path to enlightenment. Known for his fierce yet compassionate nature in Tibetan Buddhism, Chana Dorje embodies strength and clarity, providing unwavering support in times of challenge.

Chana Dorje

Chana Dorje, known in Sanskrit as Vajrapani, is a revered bodhisattva in Mahayana and Vajrayana Buddhism who embodies the power and protection of all Buddhas. His name translates to “Holder of the Vajra,” symbolizing the indestructible force of enlightened wisdom. Often depicted in a wrathful form, Chana Dorje has a muscular, blue-hued body, wild hair, and a fierce expression, standing amidst flames that represent the burning away of ignorance. He holds a vajra (thunderbolt) in his raised right hand, ready to strike down delusion, and a lasso in his left to bind negative forces. As one of the Rig Sum Gonpo trinity—alongside Avalokiteshvara (compassion) and Manjushri (wisdom)—he represents the powerful energy needed to overcome obstacles on the path to enlightenment. In Bhutanese and Tibetan traditions, Chana Dorje is also seen as a protector against nagas, serpent-like beings believed to cause illness.
