Vairocana Buddha

Vairocana Buddha, also known as Mahavairocana, is a central figure in Mahayana and Vajrayana Buddhism who represents the embodiment of the Dharmakāya, or the ultimate truth and cosmic reality beyond form and duality. He is often depicted seated in the center of mandalas, symbolizing his role as the source from which all Buddhas emanate and the unity of all phenomena. His radiant white color reflects the purity and totality of wisdom, and his hands are typically held in the Dharmachakra mudra, which signifies the turning of the wheel of Dharma and the teaching of enlightenment. Vairocana is revered as the primordial Buddha who illuminates the universe with boundless awareness and who transcends time and space while remaining immanent in all beings.
