Statue Care Guide
- Display with Care: Preserve your statue in a glass cabinet to protect it from dust, moisture, and accidental damage.
- Dusting: Use a soft, clean cotton cloth to gently wipe away dust. Avoid using rough or abrasive materials.
- Minimize Handling: Avoid touching gold-plated statues frequently, as natural oils from your skin can accelerate tarnishing.
- Do Not Scrub: Never use steel wool, metal-bristled brushes, or scrubbing pads. These can scratch and damage delicate surfaces.

Long Life Deities of Longevity
The Three Deities of Longevity—Amitayus, White Tara, and Namgyalma—are revered in Tibetan Buddhism for their power to extend life, promote good health, and accumulate spiritual merit. Worshiping these deities through long-life rituals helps devotees overcome the three causes of death: exhaustion of merit, exhaustion of karma, and exhaustion of life force.
Amitayus, a form of Amitabha Buddha, is known as the Buddha of Infinite Life. He is often depicted seated in meditation posture, holding a vase filled with amrita (the nectar of immortality), symbolizing long life and wisdom. Devotees seek his blessings to prolong their lifespan, purify negative karma, and gain spiritual enlightenment.
White Tara, a peaceful female bodhisattva, is associated with healing, protection, and longevity. She is depicted with seven eyes (on her hands, feet, and forehead), symbolizing her ability to see and protect beings from suffering. White Tara’s blessings remove obstacles to longevity and promote physical and spiritual well-being.
Namgyalma, a three-faced, eight-armed deity, is known for her power to purify karma, eliminate disease, and ensure a long life. She is often worshipped to remove obstacles to longevity and provide divine protection. Practitioners believe that reciting Namgyalma’s mantra and engaging in deity visualization can help avert untimely death and restore life force energy.
By incorporating these sacred Buddhist statues into daily practice, practitioners can cultivate long-lasting vitality, overcome spiritual obstacles, and achieve profound inner peace.
