Statue Care Guide
- Display with Care: Preserve your statue in a glass cabinet to protect it from dust, moisture, and accidental damage.
- Dusting: Use a soft, clean cotton cloth to gently wipe away dust. Avoid using rough or abrasive materials.
- Minimize Handling: Avoid touching gold-plated statues frequently, as natural oils from your skin can accelerate tarnishing.
- Do Not Scrub: Never use steel wool, metal-bristled brushes, or scrubbing pads. These can scratch and damage delicate surfaces.

Gampopa
Gampopa (1079–1153), also known as Sonam Rinchen and Dakpo Lharjé (“the physician from Dakpo”), was a pivotal figure in Tibetan Buddhism who bridged the gap between monastic discipline and yogic realization. Originally trained as a physician, Gampopa turned to spiritual life after the tragic loss of his wife and children. He first studied the Kadampa tradition, known for its structured teachings and emphasis on ethical conduct, and later became the foremost disciple of the great yogi Milarepa. Under Milarepa’s guidance, Gampopa mastered the profound practices of Mahamudra and Vajrayana.
