Turquoise and coral stones are hand-inlaid throughout the crown, necklace and adornments, while the robe comes alive with hand-chased repoussé work tracing delicate floral and scroll patterns across every fold. As a one-of-a-kind masterpiece, this statue is entirely hand-carved rather than cast from a repeated mold, a mark of true devotional metalwork refined over generations of master craftsmen.

Chenrezig, the Bodhisattva of Infinite Compassion is shown in his revered four-armed Shadakshari form, seated upon a tiered lotus throne with his two main hands joined in prayer at the heart holding wish-fulfilling gem. His upper right hand holds a crystal rosary and his upper left cradles a lotus blossom, both symbols of purity and his boundless compassion for all sentient beings. A jeweled crown and royal earrings frame his serene golden face, while the back of the throne bears the sacred six-syllable mantra "Om Mani Padme Hum", flanked by kirtimukha and makara.
