Welcome this exquisite Kalachakra Statue into your sacred space as a symbol of profound wisdom and spiritual power. Crafted from copper and fire-gilded with multiple layers of luminous gold, this statue is created using the traditional lost-wax technique by master Newari artists from Patan. Kalachakra is depicted with four fierce gold-painted faces and twenty-four arms, each holding sacred and ritual attributes that embody enlightened energies. Shown in dynamic union with Vishvamata, the deity subdues Kamadeva and Rudra upon a lotus seat, representing the conquest of desire and destructive forces. A richly detailed blazing halo surrounds the figure, enhancing its commanding and divine presence.

The deep symbolism of Kalachakra, known as the Wheel of Time, reflects the interconnection between cosmic cycles and the path to enlightenment. The Wheel of Time signifies mastery over time and transformation, guiding practitioners beyond the cycles of birth and rebirth toward awakened awareness.

About Kalachakra

Kalachakra, meaning “Wheel of Time,” is one of the most complex and esoteric deities in Tibetan Buddhism, symbolizing the cyclical nature of time and the universe. As a wrathful form of a Buddha, Kalachakra is often depicted with multiple heads, arms, and legs, which signify his ability to perceive all realms of existence and his mastery over time and the elements. He represents the intricate connection between the macrocosm of the universe and the microcosm of human existence. The Kalachakra teachings, originating from India and introduced to Tibet in the 11th century, are regarded as a pathway to enlightenment that focuses on world peace and personal spiritual transformation. The Kalachakra deity is also a central figure in the Kalachakra Tantra, one of the most advanced and highly revered practices in Tibetan Buddhism, symbolizing the union of wisdom and compassion.
