Machig Labdron was an 11th-century Tibetan yogini, revered as the founder of the Chöd practice, a unique path in Vajrayana Buddhism that involves offering one’s own body as a feast to sever ego-clinging and develop ultimate compassion. Born in Tibet, she was a reincarnation of Yeshe Tsogyal and trained under Indian master Padampa Sangye.
