Indoor Guru Rinpoche Seated in Throne | Founding Fathers of Tibetan Buddhism

This large Guru Rinpoche statue brings the enlightened presence of Padmasambhava into your prayer room or altar, flanked by his two closest disciples, Mandarava and Yeshe Tsogyal. Hand-cast by Newari artisans in Nepal, using the lost-wax method. The figures are crafted from copper and richly fire-gilded in gold, with gold-painted faces and semi-precious stones inlays. Guru Rinpoche sits upon a lotus throne, crowned with his signature lotus hat holding a vajra and skull cup with a khatvanga staff resting at his shoulder. Mandarava stands at his side in delicately carved dress reflecting her royal heritage, while Yeshe Tsogyal stands beside him holding vase, completing this revered trio of Vajrayana masters.

Behind and beneath the trio rises an ornate throne, also crafted by Newari artisans from gold-gilded copper and finished with hand-painted acrylic detailing. A tall aureole frames Guru Rinpoche in dense floral vines and scrollwork inlaid with multicolored semi-precious stones, settled with Dakini, snow lions and dragons in the style of a Himalayan high altar. The tiered base is finely chased with repeating floral and geometric motifs and guarded by miniature protector figures, while a jeweled parasol crowning the piece signifies spiritual authority and divine protection.

Standing an impressive 37 inches tall and weighing 24.16 kg, this Guru Rinpoche throne statue makes a radiant centerpiece for a home altar, monastery or Dharma center. Devotees turn to Padmasambhava and his disciples for spiritual guidance and the removal of obstacles on the path to awakening, making this handcrafted sculpture as meaningful for daily devotion and treasure for collectors.
