Four-armed Manjushri Statue from Nepal | Vajrayana Wisdom Deity Sculpture

Invite timeless wisdom with this graceful Maha Manjushri statue seated beside his consort Prajnaparamita. This Statue is Handcrafted in Nepal using the ancient lost wax technique. Skilled artisans pour molten copper into a handmade mold to form a strong and durable alloy and then chemically oxidize the surface to develop its brownish tone. The statue features carefully polished and hand carved crown, jewelry and garments with striking clarity.

This piece portrays Manjushri and Prajnaparamita seated together upon a single lotus seat. Manjushri appears in his four-armed Maha form and holds the sword of wisdom together with a sutra text in his upper hands while his lower hands carry a bow and arrow. He wears a Five-jeweled crown along with matching earrings. Beside him sits Prajnaparamita with a graceful and serene expression. Seated in royal ease posture, she holds the stem of a blooming utpala flower while her hands rest in varada and abhaya mudra. Richly detailed jewelry and ornaments complete her regal presence.

In Vajrayana Buddhism, Manjushri embodies the wisdom that cuts through ignorance while Prajnaparamita personifies that very wisdom in its highest form. Together they symbolize the union of insight and compassion on the path to enlightenment. Devotees seek this pair for clarity of mind and lasting spiritual wisdom.
