Vajra Master Padmasambhava Sculpture | The Founder of Tibetan Buddhism

Bring the timeless presence of the Vajra Master into your sacred space with this life-size  Guru Padmasambhava statue, crafted from pure copper and chemically treated to achieve a rich oxidized dark finish. The deep & warm shade of the oxidized copper body is beautifully contrasted by silver-plated finish across the ornamental details, creating an elegant two-tone sacred aesthetic that is both visually striking and spiritually resonant. Shaped through the traditional lost-wax casting and refined with meticulous 3D hand-carving, every surface of this sculpture achieves gallery-grade realism across the robe attire and intricately carved lotus flower pedestal.

His semi-compassionate face radiates the quiet wisdom of a master settled in boundless equanimity. The silver-plated five-pointed crown sits with regal composure above his gaze, while earrings and a layered sacred necklace adorned with floral symbols. Hand-carved with fine metalwork by the master artisans of Nepal, Padmasambhava is depicted holding vajra, skull cup, and the silver-plated khatvanga staff rising at his shoulder with its trident and flowing ribbons completing the full sacred iconography of the Lotus Born Master.

About Guru Rinpoche

Guru Rinpoche, also known as Padmasambhava or the “Precious Guru,” is a legendary tantric master and enlightened being credited with bringing Vajrayana Buddhism to Tibet in the 8th century. Born miraculously from a lotus in the land of Oddiyana, he is revered as a fully awakened emanation of the Buddha, sent to tame negative forces and reveal profound esoteric teachings. Guru Rinpoche played a pivotal role in establishing the Nyingma school, the oldest of the four major schools of Tibetan Buddhism, and in founding Samye Monastery, Tibet’s first Buddhist monastery. His teachings, miracles, and hidden spiritual treasures (terma) continue to inspire generations of practitioners. He is invoked as the “Second Buddha” and a powerful guide on the path to liberation, with devotees reciting his sacred Guru Rinpoche mantra: Om Ah Hung Vajra Guru Pema Siddhi Hum.
